What is Silent No More 4 Teens?

Silent No More 4 Teens is a website that has been (and is still being) developed by the educators at the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support center along with input and ideas from teens like you. We recognize that the information and format of our main website www.silentnomore.org may not be all relevant or necessarily speak to the life of a teenager. This site is for you. We want to make this interactive, fun and informational. Please let us know what you would like to see here, or let us know that we are great. We LOVE feedback! Now here is a little bit of information about our agency:

The Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center is a nonprofit agency with administrative offices in Winthrop, Waterville and Skowhegan. SA&SC provide all of its service free of charge to 4 counties in Maine; Kennebec, Knox, Somerset and Waldo. All services are open to Servivors of sexual violence, their family memebers, their friends, or anyone else affected by sexual violence in some way. Both men and Women are welcomed to use these services. Here is some more information regarding SAC&SC's services:

Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center provides free, confidential services to Kennebec, Somerset, Knox & Waldo Counties:

• A 24 hour, confidential, statewide, Crisis Support Line: 1-800-871-7741
• Support Groups for survivors of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, and for non-offending parents of children who have been sexually abused
• Crisis intervention and information
• Support and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault and their families
• Advocacy for survivors who chose to seek medical attention, report to the police, or go through the criminal justice system
• Referral to appropriate agencies and individuals in the community
• Community and professional education
