I think we’ve all heard this little chestnut before. “No” can mean a wide variety of things, ranging from “I like you but I’m not ready” to “Not if you were the last multi-cellular organism on Earth,” but “Yes” is not one of them. This is a concept, meanwhile, that some telemarketers could stand to learn. So, we all know that “No” means “No.” Another safety tip is that “No” doesn’t mean “Try harder.” The only thing you should be trying to do harder when you hear “No” is to put your own feelings aside.
