Can husbands rape wives? Yes. Can wives rape husbands? Yes! Why is it possible to rape a husband or wife? Because you married a person who has the right to say, “No,” for whatever reason he/she wants. You didn’t marry some coin-feed, automatic, always-on sex robot.
People also assume that marital rape isn’t as traumatic as other types of rape... realize that marital rape is typically part of a cycle of abuse and is hardly ever a one-time event.
