Myth Buster!

Myth # 3: Rape is the result of uncontrollable biological sexual impulses.

I love it when people use big words... especially when they have no idea what they’re talking about! Let’s think about this argument. Can we agree that the biological purpose of sex is to reproduce? That would mean that men and women who rape because of “uncontrollable biological sexual impulses” are hoping to reproduce.

Why is it then that people rape other people of the same sex? Why is it then that people rape the elderly who cannot reproduce? Why is it then that so many people rape children who also cannot reproduce? Why is it that some rape is oral? Why is it that some rape is anal? Why are some rape victims murdered? What about the phenomenon of corrective rape? I’d like to know how that’s about biological impulses.
